Girlyfight is Recruiting Writers!

In order to expand our topic coverage, we’re looking for women who have something to say but perhaps lack a place to say it. We’re searching for women who want a safe place to express themselves and a strong commitment to building the Girlyfight community.

Writing experience is NOT required (though helpful). We’re willing to help with editing and tweaking until the post is ready to be published.

What IS required is a desire to contribute to the Girlyfight community and the overall goals of the site.

We have not established minimum posting requirements for contributors. We’ll work with interested individuals to find an arrangement that works, whether it be a one-time contribution or a regularly-scheduled column.

We’re open to factual articles, opinion posts, reviews, and personal experiences on almost any topic. Chances are that if you want to write about it, we’ll find a place for it as long as it makes sense as part of our site.

While this position does not involve monetary compensation, benefits do include:

• the ability to be instrumental in forming a group of women who work to support each other and their communities
• another match for your name in Google search
• a shiny “Contributor” designation next to your name on the message boards
• access to a platform that will allow you to give voice to items of importance to you
