I feel like a bad Campbell fan, this quote is entirely new to me!
This one really resonates with me. I’ve been wrestling a lot with “riding the rails” of what I thought/think I’m supposed to do and jumping off and going for what feels right. This is going on my desktop for a while, I think.
I’ll admit I’m not overly familiar with him, but this quote really stuck with me when I read it. I hope you figure out what you should be doing. I wish it was easier to know.
I’ve been obsessing about planning and plans, thinking that it’ll somehow calm my anxiety about the future. But I know that’s not the way it works. Life goes as life goes. The key is to be prepared for anything, rather than locked into the plans you’ve made.

I think it’s great to be aware of the options available and to aim for them but without some flexibility, I find having plans even more frustrating than NOT having plans.
