Prompt: One Word
Our weekly prompts are exercises in dreaming and doing. Some will feature specific questions, others will include just a word or phrase. Respond any way you like - whatever the prompt below inspires in you, go with it. Whether you respond with a written response (poetry, an essay, a bit of fiction) or a visual response (photo, paint, video, art), we’d love for you to share your responses with us by leaving a comment or link below.
This week's prompt:
This week’s prompt is one we learned from a 30-day project we participated in last year called #reverb10. Although the project is no longer around, the lasting impact of its usefulness is not lost. One of the first things we were asked to explore was what our word for the year would be. I’m sure there are many variations of this idea out there. Maybe it’s that you choose two or three words instead of one. Maybe you have one word for each of the things you hope to conquer this year. All we want you to do is really think about what you want your theme for this year to be and then help you make that happen.
What is your one (or two or three) word for 2012? What do you want your guiding theme for this year to be? Share your word(s) in the comments below!

I’m going to go with “present” – as in here and now. I want to be fully present in this moment so I can use it in the best way possible to obtain those longer-term goals. Not tomorrow, not later. Now. The present.
My word for 2012 is Wholesome. It seems to be a word that covers all the different aspects of my life that need work.

I love both of your words! I’m a little sad to say that I still haven’t figured mine out but am actively trying to find a good fit for me for this year. I’ll be updating once I figure it out!
