CiT:(Week #2) Nurture Creativity in Friends
We hope you’re enjoying CiT so far! Last week, Stacia shared some really fun and helpful tools we can use to focus on nurturing the creativity within us. With that in mind, we’re going to move one step further and work on helping the people we care most about embrace and reconnect with their creative side.
Just as we have discussed in a number of our posts over the last few months, choosing to find time for your creative passions is not easy. We know how often life gets in the way of doing the stuff our heart yearns to do, and we think that with a little help from our friends it is possible to set aside even the smallest amount of time to start doing more.
Sometimes, the hardest part is just knowing what to ask for and then, gulp, reaching out and asking for it. It would be great if the people we care about that care about us in return would just know when and how to offer us the things we need, but sometimes not even we know what we need or how we can get started towards something new and exciting and different.
That’s why this week we’ll share tips and ideas for how to help that friend or family member who is looking to connect with his/her creative side. We’ll have a fantastic guest post from the very talented Lauren Ramsey, as well as a really fun and affordable craft idea to help with encouragement.
We hope you’ll join us during Week 2 of Creatives in Training. We’d love to hear how you have helped a creative friend in need or how someone has helped you rekindle your spark. Enjoy!

I’m excited to see what ideas you have for encouraging our friends. I know the slumps I’ve experienced and I know we all go through it. Let’s figure out how to help!
